Our guest this week:
About Marisa Shadrick:
I help women find their dormant courage by taking small steps of faith until they discover they were made for more.
“Lord, change me today, so I can become the person you intended tomorrow.”
Who me, a writer?
When I started to write, it was unnatural or uncomfortable. I think you have the wrong person, Lord.
I had to “find my brave,” so I went back to school, attended writers conferences, and began to tap on my keyboard–despite my sweaty palms. God took my seed of faith and helped me published articles in Charles Stanley’s In Touch Magazine, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Gospel Publishing House, local newspapers and online publications.
As a blogger, my weekly posts are contemplative and yet, sometimes humorous. I like to dig into relevant issues using Ephesians 1:17-20 as my prayer for readers.
“A woman of wisdom and faith, Marisa has much to share. Gifted as both a writer and a speaker, her blogs are always a treasure trove of delightful insights and nuggets of God’s truth,” Barbara Parker/USA Standing in Faith Ministries, Linkedin
“I’ve known Marisa since 2014. She has consistently shown herself to be an encourager helping people live their lives to the fullest. She is passionate about Christ and has a huge heart and vision for a God-sized life for each of us,” Derek Ouellette/Canada Your Digital Ministry Coach.
“I love reading Marisa’s blog. She consistently presents from her personal experience in the place where faith meets reality. Her openness and honesty are refreshing as are her reminders of God’s goodness, grace, and mercy. I hope you enjoy reading/watching her material as much as I do,” Ruth Embery/Australia Blogger and Author
